🌍 Committing to the low-carbon transition with The Shifters
Would you like to take concrete action for the climate and energy transition? The local group Toulouse Midi-Pyrénées of The Shifters brings together committed volunteers to support the low-carbon transition in France and Europe.
🔎 Who are The Shifters?
Created in 2014, the non-profit organization The Shifters supports the work of The Shift Project, a recognized group of experts that informs public and economic decision-makers about issues related to climate change and the increasing scarcity of fossil fuels.
The common goal:
- Gain an in-depth understanding of energy and climate issues
- Propose solutions based on a scientific, pragmatic approach that is independent of any political party
- Reduce greenhouse gas emissions and dependence on oil, gas, and coal
Today, The Shifters brings together more than 25,000 people, spread across more than 75 local groups and 13 thematic circles.
