If you are an aspiring entrepreneur and would like to obtain student entrepreneur status, here are the seven steps you need to follow:
STEP 1: Submit your application online Fill in the application form for National Student Entrepreneur Status (SNEE) on the government website: https://snee.enseignementsup-recherche.gouv.fr/
STEP 2: Receipt of application & preliminary learner positioning questionnaire Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an email confirming that we have received your file. This email will also include a preliminary learner positioning questionnaire for the SNEE programme in order to assess your needs and plan workshops and follow-ups.
STEP 3: Reserve your slot for the upcoming commitment committees You will receive the necessary information and a link to reserve your slot for the SNEE commitment committees. This is mandatory in order to assess your project, your motivations and your availability.
STEP 4: Invitation to the commitment committee and selection criteria You will be invited by a PÉPITE ÉCRIN representative by email, with the date, time and Zoom link for the commitment committee.
⚠Here are the selection criteria:
1. Motivation to undertake the project: the candidate's ability to explain the meaning and reasons behind their approach, as well as their personal and professional goals.
2. Ability to be supported: time allocated to the project, availability, aspirations, etc.
3. Maturity of the initiative: quality of the candidate's presentation of the documentary research carried out, contacts made with professionals, questions asked of potential beneficiaries, and initial drafts of the project proposal.
4. Understanding of the SNEE's purpose and the scope of the commitment that obtaining this status implies on the part of the candidate: the candidate's ability to project themselves as a SNEE holder, to be in a learning position, and to comply with the student entrepreneur charter.
STEP 5: Come and present your project to the commitment committee (remotely via Zoom). Interview before the Pépite ÉCRIN selection committee. The interviews take place in September, October, November and December (2025); please check the dates on our website at the following address: https://pepite-ecrin.pepitizy.fr/fr/pepite
STEP 6: Validation of applications by the Regional Entrepreneurship Hub ...or not! Following this interview, the selection panel will make a decision regarding your application.
STEP 7: Committee results You will then receive an email from the Pépite ÉCRIN team informing you of the panel's decision.
⚠Please note: Status is individual. It is granted to the person, not the project. And SNEE is valid for one academic year (from September to September). ⚠
You will find the selection committee schedule here. So don't wait any longer!
