Regional competition for the creation of cooperative enterprises
You are an entrepreneur, student, employee, researcher, job seeker..., residing in Occitania, having a cooperative business creation project (SCOP or SCIC) or having created your cooperative after January 1, 2018?

Eligibility criteria
Collective project - entrepreneurial capacities of project leaders - economic model - development potential (job creation project) - social utility.
The prizes
The competition, with €4,000 in prizes, rewards projects in four categories:
- Young Entrepreneurs Award: for projects (in creation or already installed) carried out by young people aged 18 to 35.
- Women's Entrepreneurship Award: for projects (in creation or already installed) carried out by women entrepreneurs.
- Young shoots prize: for cooperative companies under 2 years old (created after 01/01/2018).
In addition to these three prizes, the Public Prize will be added, which will be voted live by the audience at the prize-giving ceremony. The non-award winning finalists will pitch their project live and the audience will vote for their favourite.
Each prize will be accompanied by a "cooperative plus" in the form of a service offered by cooperatives located in our territory (Yokwé Films; Com'3elles; Théâtre du Grand Rond) and by the Confédération Générale des Scop.

Training days: 16 January 2020: The CANVAS Business Model (9:30-12:30)
Learn to pitch your project (1 day in January 2020)
Hearing of the candidates before the final jury: end of January 2020

This competition organized by the Regional Union of Scop Occitania - Pyrenees, a structure to support the creation, takeover and transfer of businesses in cooperatives. The objective? Support cooperative business creation projects in Occitania but also enhance the value of cooperatives already established.
